Terms and Conditions
1. Passenger information
To proceed with the reservation, at The Peruvian Trek Expeditions Travel Agency we will request personal information, which will be used confidentially for the aforementioned purposes:
• Full name.
• Date of birth.
• Nationality.
•Gender.
• Dietary requirements.
• Medical condition (essential for adventure tours).
• Copy of your passport (in case you book with a passport about to expire, you must provide the updated copy of it as soon as you have it).
2. Initial Payment and Payment Methods
To confirm booking of cany of our services, you must make an initial payment of 50% of the total price of the requested service (this is not refundable under any circumstances). Means of payment:
• Payments through our website with the following cards: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club.
• Link payments.
• Payments through agentsWestern Union or Money Gram.
• Deposits through interbank transfer.
Commissions: All payment methods generate commissions of 6%, which vary depending on the modality. Therefore, it is important to emphasize that it is the customer who will bear the costs of the same.
3. Payment of the balance
• The outstanding balance shall havecash upon arrival in the city of Cusco or before the start of services and at our central office.
• Failure to pay the outstanding balance will make it impossible for you to participate in the contracted services (in no case will the company make any refund of the initial payment).
4. Train Tickets and Entrance to Machu Picchu
Train Tickets and Entranceo a Machupicchu son en su totalidad de carácter NO reembolsable.
5.%20%20%20%20Modificaciones de ITINERARIOS por parte del cliente
•%20%20%20%20Cualquier tipo de modificación por parte del cliente genera penalidades las cuales serán asumidas por el mismo cliente.
•%20%20%20%20Boletos de tren, ingreso a Machupicchu e ingresos al Camino Inca, por ningún motivo se permite modificación alguna.
•%20%20%20%20Tampoco es permitido el cambio de titularidad del servicio.
6.%20%20%20%20Sobre los tours del CAMINO INCA y caminatas alternativas
•%20%20%20%20MODIFICACIONES: Los cambios de fecha, de titularidad, de ruta y otros concernientes al Camino Inca, no son factibles y tampoco son reembolsables en ninguna forma.
•%20%20%20%20CANCELACIONES: Las cancelaciones enservices of the Inca Trail have a penalty of 100% of the cost of the service. Therefore, if the customer made the initial payment of 50%, the customer must complete the payment of the remaining 50%.
• NO SHOWS: In the event that customers do not show up for the realization of the Inca Trail, no refund will be made considering this a NO SHOW.
7. Cancellations or anu• In case of
requesting the cancellation of any service up to 15 days before the start of the tour, a refund of 50% of the initial payment will be made. Therefore, if a refund is requested 14 or less days before the start of the contracted tour, NO refund or refund is applicable.
• The following services: theInca Trail, train tickets and entrance to Machu Picchu, do not apply to cancellation or refund.
8. Responsibilities of the Passenger or Client
• It is the responsibility of the passenger to provide reliable information in order to proceed with the reservations.
• It is mandatory for the customer to bring the passport or travel document with andl who made the booking.
• For hiking and/or adventure tours, it is essential that customers over 65 have a medical certificate of good health.
• It is highly recommended to have travel insurance before departure from your country. Consult with your agent.
• If the passenger shows the following signs:intoxication, use of toxic substances, mental disorders. For security reasons, we reserve the right to suspend the contracted service.
• In the event that the client fails to comply with the established itinerary and this causes delays, losses or other inconveniences, the client will be responsible for them...
• There will be NO possibility of reimbursement whenor the services are in full development and on a regular basis, and the client, of his own free will, decides not to continue with them.

• If the passenger comes with minors, they will have to present the necessary documents of the minor (DNI or Passport of the minor, DNI or passportcontribution of the father or mother).
• Also, if the minor is traveling with a parent or without his or her parents, it is mandatory to present a notarized letter certified and signed by the notary and by both parents (This authorization is valid for 90 days and must be delivered to the Peruvian immigration authority to allow the minor to leave the country and is valid only once.)
